BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

Captain Dennis Dillon

Dennis Dillon flew for United Airlines from 1965 until retiring in 1999. He retired as a Captain on the B-777. He served as United MEC System Schedule Committee chairman from 1981 to 1983 and from 1988 to 1995. He was First Officer Representative for ALPA Council 34 from 1983 to 1986. From 1995 to 1997 he was Director of Flight Crew Resources for Flight Operations in United World Headquarters. Post retirement he was a consultant with the joint United/ALPA Quality of Work Life committee. This committee developed the work rule changes incorporated in the 2000 pilot agreement. He currently lives with his wife, Cynthia, in Palo Alto, California.
